Re: “Euthanasia can’t be the only way” and “Supreme Court erred in decision” (Letters to the Editor, Feb. 13)
Like many others, I have been in favour of having existing laws changed so I can choose to die with dignity and spare my family suffering in watching me deteriorate. Also, why add extra costs to our already overburdened medical system by forcing terminally ill patients to stay alive against their wishes?
It’s very perplexing to read some people commenting that the Supreme Court’s decision will bring about Armageddon.
To each their own: it’s our life and we fully deserve to make our own decision in such delicate issues. Those who oppose it should not try to dictate what is right and wrong.
