To my WordPress Following old, aspiring, and the like,
Some of you who have read my posts from before know that I’m an advocate for mental health and a Roman Catholic Christian. I have a Facebook friend who introduced me to my intimate friend Ember and like her she has been on a journey with her life and her mental well being.
My Facebook friend has had a rough road to follow from homelessness to drug usage, and now is having to come to terms with the loss of her mother and grandmother. She has been on a journey trying to get her life, physical, emotional, spiritual life put together again. It’s especially hard getting back to physical/mental health when you have the right people with you let alone her spiritual health. But walking the hard road to health has been filled with pain and like those of us trying desperately fit God into our lives find ourselves at a dead end. The number one enemy aside from physical impediments are emotional ones.
We look in the mirror and think “I’m not good enough because I’ve done nothing but hurt people.” Or “My past defines me and so define my future.” “Or God has left me so what’s the point?” But we can change! This girl needs all the moral support in the world, prayers, and whatever well wishes you can give her because she’s at a turning point. She needs to change for herself, her the people around her, and for her God! Like the rest of us she needs second, third, fourth chances and could use a rally of support about now.
Because the number one enemy aide from ourselves are the nasty spirits behind all those negative self statements. The worst one being the Devil followed by his shitty friends! I don’t care whether you are a believer in the Devil or not but I think we can all relate to self doubt and hatred of ourselves, no? She needs a rallying cry like so many of us in our darkest hour! She needs prayer power and she needs The Lord! Who’s with me?
Peace and Blessings to all of you!

To see the memorial she wrote in passing of her mother.
